Set in the northern corner of Maroochydore Beach at the Maroochy River mouth.   A quaint and leafy setting over looking the water with a predominantly northerly aspect, The Esplanade is lined with cafes, restaurants, boutique fashion outlets and weekend markets.

This area is slowly going through a redevelopment phase, with original beach shacks making way for luxury residential medium rise residential apartment complexes.  Cotton Tree Esplanade also has several dedicated commercial and office building due to its prime location on the edge of the CBD and Sunshine Plaza shopping centre.
